A change in the windshield is one of the easiest ways to improve the appearance of your bike. I chose the Zero Gravity windshield.

You can see a direct comparison of the Dark Blue Zero Gravity windshield (left) to the stock windshield (right).

If you're looking for a new windshield, first be advised that you might find more products out there if you use the term "windscreen". I don't like fancy words much, so I used "windshield" because that's what it is. Also, I think you should consider a few features before you lay out your plastic for this plastic:

  1. Color - really try to see some photos of the product installed on your exact bike before you buy. You want to make sure there is a good color match. What you DON'T want is a "near miss", where there's an obvious color difference, but it's clear that you were going for a true match. Very unstylish ooo
  2. Size - a replacement might be bigger or smaller than your stock windshield. Again, try to see photo comparisons, so you can see how far the new shield will stick up, or stick out. Just be aware that the new shield could be a drastically different shape, and that could obstruct your vision, or cause wind buffetting on your helmet.

I think you can see that the Zero Gravity is NOT larger than the stock shield. They are in fact the same size. There is just a slightly different shape to the ZG shield which does give a larger "quiet area" for the rider, without being any more bulky. There is no problem with wind buffetting on my helmet I'm 5'11"). The color is a great match to the Gixxer blue

Installation is self-explanatory. Just unscrew the stock bolts that hold the windshield in place, pull out the rubber grommets from the stock shield. Then reinsert the hardware into the new shield and mount it.
